My name is Isabella Lorena Giggenbacher, I am 21 years old and I attend a language school in Landshut, where I am able to learn English and Spanish.I will finish school in June and would love to do a volantary social year afterwards.
The idea to start a social year appeared years ago. My life always had other plans for me, but I'm glad that I now decided to take this time and get the experience of a voluntary social year.
I had the opportunity to absolve a traineeship in Malaga Spain. This helped me a lot to get more experience of the language and other culures. I really love to speak and improve my spanish skills. After thatI travelled every time I could, sometimes alone sometimes with friends and family, however the most important thing for me is to be abroad as often as possible and learn more about our world and human beings.I'm interested in people who are living differently and learn from them.
I would describe myself as an open-minded, flexible, curious and inquisitive person.
To help others and be there for someone has always been something I emphasized. In winter time I could get experience to work with kids in the ski school as an instructor. It makes me pretty happy to teach the children how to ski. This is why I could figure out that a social job would suit me more.
I couldn't imagen something better than the idea to get into the social branch and this in fact in a country where I could improve my spanish.

Solingua, donde traduje textos de alemán y inglés a español.
tuve la suerto de poder aprender mucho sobre la culutra y la vida con la familia de acogida.
Me parece la vida en España mejor para mi y quiero volver y conocer más.
Algo sobre mi, soy una persona abierta, flexible, curiosa y con ganas de aprender.
Ayudar a la gente y cuidar a alguien es esencial para mi.
En invierno soy profesora de esquí en una escuela en Austria, donde trabajo solo con niños.
Me hace feliz enseñarles como hacer esquí y ver sus progresos.
Con ello pude descubrir que quiero hacer algo social, lo mejor con niños.
