My name is Sarah,
I am 19 years old and I currently study applied geography at the RWTH Aachen in Germany. I was always interested in helping the environment and I hope to work in a nature conservancy one day. That is why I am looking forward to doing a "European Voluntary Service" in this field after I finished my degree in summer 2020.

At University I learn about geomorphology, climatology and geology amongst other things. Topics as landslides, climate change, vegetation and soil are typical for those subjects. I would like to experience and see processes I learned about at University in action. I would look forward to working with you.

My strengths are that I am willing to learn new things and that I finish tasks efficiently and meticulously. In the past, I have volunteered for 4 years at my local school. I was a school paramedic and helped out a few days a week. I learned to stay calm in difficult situations and to assess the problems and find a solution.
